I was just going to say the same. What a beautiful voice and song. Looks to be in the 70’s? I wonder, could we find enough young people today to sit and enjoy this as we see in the film?
Early seventies I think. I suspect you might still find toung people with the musicality to sit and enjoy, though maybe you would have to look further than you would have in years gone by.
Oh, I loved Scott Walker when I was young. I still have some old Walker Brothers LPs somewhere, and still play them occasionally, and still love his voice.
It is a wonderful voice. The records passed me by, though I knew many of the songs from the radio, but then I heard ‘Only Myself to Blame’ – from the soundtrack of ‘Die Another Day’ on the radio at work and was stunned. I’d have posted that but I couldn’t find visuals to match.
