… but Paris is already calling.
I’ve read so many lovely plans for Paris in July. Books, films, food, music …
I want to go now!
Away from all the housework I should have been doing while I was knitting and watching Case Histories instead.
Away from anxiety about tomorrow’s job interview.
Away from a good few half-written posts, all crying “Finish me!” “Finish me!”
Even away from the wonderfully dark and complex gothic murder mystery I am reading for letter U in my Crime Fiction Alphabet.
This week’s post will be a little late. I need a little musical trip to Paris.
Françoise Hardy’s lovely version of La Mer came into my head first. I love that song in any language, but it isn’t really Paris. And, on a more practical note, I couldn’t find the right video.
Then Tous Les Garçons et Les Filles came to mind …
Perfect!
Normal service should, I hope, resume tomorrow night.
Don’t hold out on us! What is the mystery novel?! I’ve been craving gothic stuff and mysteries for ages now.
Sending you best wishes, good luck and super powers through the internet for your interview! It seemed to help when my daughter would have exams at uni…so there you go.
Bon voyage (I’ll be going to Paris with you!) … and bonne chance.
I would so love to visit Paris…I should join in for this little challenge!!
Good luck on your interview!
I hope that your interview went well!
